Travelodge

Heritage Masonry were approached by Team Northern Construction with a view to building a new Travelodge in Kendal. The design had to be in-keeping with the surrounding area, using natural limestone. The client wanted the building to look as though it was built using a dry stone walling method, to achieve the desired effect the stone was back bedded, the stone being bedded on mortar with the leading edge slightly raked back.

The stone heads and sills were quarried, cut and dressed by our stone masons from our sister company Yorkshire Stone Supplies.
